Chelsey MacDonald is an associate. Since becoming a California attorney in 2017, she worked in the fields of dependency law and public entity law. Now at KDK, she handles professional liability claims statewide by defending physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. During law school, Chelsey served as an editor of the school’s Business and Entrepreneurship Journal and chaired the school’s moot court team. She was a judicial extern for the Honorable Ronald S.W. Lew of the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, as well as a judicial extern for the Chief Justice of the Republic of Rwanda.

Chelsey has published a law review article entitled To Show, or Not to Show-That Was the Question: A Discussion Regarding the First Amendment Issues Implicated by the Sony Pictures Entertainment Cyberhack & the Interview Debacle, 9 J. Bus. Entrepreneurship & L. 235 (2015)

Chelsey is married and has two Shih Tzu puppies. She enjoys reading, hiking, and traveling.
